This paper tends to study the expressions of language of politics and its relevance as it is usually being used by the politicians as a means of communication in speech and writing. This is obtained also even in the process of composing a poem with the aim to politicize an interest and people’s way of life. However, it has been identified that some of the Hausa political verse, both oral and written entails a number of sarcastic Hausa expressions in different aspects. In that, the study also examines some of these sarcastic expressions in the political verse of a poem titled: Zuwan Mai Malafa Kano (lit. The coming of hat owner to Kano). Also, their meaning with reference to the Hausa sarcastic point of view is vindicated.
